Loading ...Based on the 1954 cult novel by Richard Matheson, I Am Legend tells the story of Robert Neville (Will Smith), where a virus which wiped out 99% of the worlds population and mutated the rest has left him the the last human on earth or so he thinks!!!. During the day he travels the streets of New York (which has replaced LA from the novel) in search of the only other inhabitants of the world The Dark Seekers. Taking some of the infected to experiment on he hopes to resurrect mankind. At night the Dark Seekers stalk Robert thirsting for blood. Only is Neville safe in his well fortified house. He is a man living a life on the edge of madness surviving by his own code.
I Am Legend is a well crafted movie and is arguably Will Smiths best acting performance to date, making you feel he is genuinely all alone in New York and feeling the terror one would feel being the only survivor of a zombie/vampire apocalypse. All in all I Am Legend is a good popcorn horror flick keeping you gripped from the start. The special editions of this movie contain an alternate ending feature that when activated cuts seamlessly into the movie (in my opinion it should have been the original theatrical ending anyway) for your viewing pleasure in addition the HD transfer is one of the best to date for all you Blu-Ray buffs
